About Dance Troupe

Founded in 1980 by a devoted group of women, the CAACF Dance Troupe was born to celebrate and share Chinese culture through movement, music, and storytelling.

Our purpose is to promote Chinese cultural heritage and build community connections through performances — using the art of traditional Chinese dance to engage audiences of all backgrounds.

What We Do

• We perform traditional Chinese dances at multicultural festivals, community gatherings, schools, libraries, and other public venues throughout Central Florida.
• We provide opportunities for dancers of varying skill levels to join, train, and participate—creating both a performance platform and a cultural learning experience.
• We help preserve important elements of Chinese heritage: costumes, music, forms, stories, while adapting and sharing them in a contemporary American setting.
